Not uncommon to have bad injector plugs can fire all day but if #5 injector doesnt give it anything to fire you will have a miss but first i can,t stress the importance of using die electric grease on those coil packs and booties i have found alot of problematic misses to end up being repaired by a little die electric grease

Replaced coil pack on 3800 pontiac bonneville and its still missing what now?

First you need to determine what type of miss you have. Is it random on all cylinders, or is it restricted to one or two cylinders? Random misfire can be caused by crank or cam sensors that are starting to give out. Single cylinder misfires can be due to plugs, wires, coils (you already addressed those), as well as internal issues such as burnt or broken valves.

Make sure you replace the spark plug wires and that you have no vacuum leaks.

I changed the spark plugs in my 2002 buick rendevous now it missing. i checked the vacuum hoses all was ok.wat else could cause this problem

You have an "Engine Miss" and even after replacing spark plugs, wires, upper and lower manifold gaskets, and push rods, the Engine Miss still remains. You may want to stop and run a compression test. This test will give you a base line. If one cylinder has low compression, you won't get rid of the miss until that is fixed. Please write back with all the specific information regarding tests, all symptoms (is the engine light on and if so what are the codes?). The more tests that you perform the more you will know and will narrow down your search. All types of things will cause a miss. Take a look at the spark plugs and wires, just because they are new doesn't mean that they are not defective, also check the EGR valve, 02 sensors and exhaust back pressure, clogged filters (fuel&air), defective coil, TPS sensor, PVC valve, or timing. Please let me know if I can help you some more, good luck.

At idle miss firing on cyl 1 3 5

Check connectors for injectors and plug coils. The read out would have told you what injector or plug was faulty. Come back with the code numbers.

Why are cylinders 1 3 and 5 are miss firing 1997 toyota camry

you cannot change oxygen sensors from front to back as they are 2 completely different units doing completely different jobs
the problem is water in the electronics and you use a dewatering fluid ( wd-40 or like ) to disperse the water not starter fluid

Check engine light is on, they say multiple miss fire in cylcinder 6. but no one can find the problem van runs great

first do a cylinder compression test on engine to verify good engine compression this should be around 110psi to 175 psi check for vacuum leak, intake port for #6 cylindermay be leaking air, or also check coil for that cylinder, if wire and spark plug have already been changed, last replace fuel injector for that cylinder.

2003 ford f150 misses at idle starts fine runs fine new fuel filter new o2sensor

One thing to take a look at is the vacuum elbow on the back of the throttle body.

Remove the plastic throttle body cover, and check the vacuum line.

Ignore the IAC notation, this is the only picture I have handy, showing the vac line just above the IAC.

Did the engine light go on, and you got a miss-fire code? If so, 1st check spark plugs (which u did), then plug wires, if that's not it, the injectors would be next. Let me know how u make out
