Oil leaks on my jeep grand cherokee 2000

Most common are valve cover gaskets worn out...especially the inline 6 cylinder...inspect the oil pressure sending unit located beside the oil filter...these are the most common and least costly fixes...Hope this helps.

'95 Jeep Grand Cherokee - air conditioner broke

If the Orifice is clogged, you would buy a new line, but I wouldn't do that so soon.

If it leaks r134a, I would try charging it on the low side with this stuff called, Arctic Freeze available at Walmart and autozone, and places like that.

I had good luck with it on a system that holds freon marginally. It's got a sealant in it, and a special additive to the r134a that makes it cool 50% faster, and colder than just regular r134a.

You can get a large can of it with a gauge for about $35 or so.

Orifice tubes do get clogged, but if they do, then the compressor shuts off and goes on and off due to the higher than normal pressure generated in the system's refrigerant circuit.

Try the stuff, and you might be pleasantly surprised. It's cheaper than the typical professional a/c service call to do this, and it is actually very effective in my experience (as long as it doesn't leak out too fast).

Good luck on the a/c.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition

Probably have bad hood struts/shocks that hold it up. These can be obtained at the usual discount parts stores(Kragen,Autozone, Checker, etc) Usually just pop off on one end of a ball mount and unbolt the other after you have propped up hood. These shocks go bad from time or fluid leaks.

Where is the low side port to add r134a on a 2000 jeep grand cherokee?

It is the side with the gray or black cap on it. The high side won't fit the can you are trying to fill from. They dummy proofed it pretty good. Only one will fit. Also, the A/C has to be running and on Max before you register a pressure and fill. If it is off it will read high.

Adding R134A to my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

might be in the long run, but try adding the feron first, the system must have pressure in it for the compressor to come on, might take a can and a half before the compressor comes on, also sounds like you might have a leak, so look around when filling
