Diagnosing a noise from afar is nearly imposible, but let me assume that the noise is your brake pads (metal)touching the rotors.....if it is DONT EVEN START IT......how you gonna stop....????

Wierd noise from the front end. sounds like a chain dragging or something. now the 4 wheel drive seems to be not working. any ideas?

Not sure about the 4wheel drive. But the weird sound could be your sway bar end links. Those tend to make a ton of noise when bad. To check: grab a hold of it and move it around, shouldn't have much play at all. If there is play in there replace with a greasable one like Moog. All the other front end noise would be bushings, and would sound nothing like the sound you're experiencing.

Bad end links are a very very common problem for our TB's.

Sounds like the noise is a bad bearing to me. If the ball joints or tie rod ends were bad, you would have irregular steering or in an extreme case, the front end would fall apart and you would lose steering abilities.

Chain dragging / Change jingling sound from Driver Front Side

Does this sound occur while th engine is running and the car is sitting still? Or only while driving? If so look at the exhaust pipe under the engine, there is a section that looks like flexible pipe, at either end there is a thin washer-like connector or fastner is it dangeling from the pipe, if so that is probably your noise. I had the same jingling noisre in mine and that was the problem, I just cut it off and the noise never came back. Hope this helps, let me know.

Front end noise when turning. almost sounds like

There are a couple of things to cause metallic sounds when turning. First thing, is if it's a clicking sound when you turn, then you have a cv joint going bad. It's usually more prominent when moving in reverse, however it can happen just as well while moving forewards. Secondly, if it's more of a grinding or scraping noise, we have a couple of options. The sound could be coming from the brakes, if they're worn or have grit stuck in them, or it could be bad bearings in the front wheel hub. The wheel hub has a tendency to making a whining noise when driving; usually most easily heard when driving past buildings. They can also allow the tire/wheel to present the appearance of leaning when looking at it. If bad enough, it can even rub on the brake caliper, or cause the disc brake rotor to wear out the brake pads prematurely. So, to recap: Check:
CV joints, if a clicking sound brakes or wheel hub bearings if grinding or whining sound.

My 1995 Dodge Stratus is making a noise coming from the front end

Sounds like it is time for some ball joints. There is no way to grease them, and when they start squeaking, it is time for replacement. Do both upper and lower on the side that is squeaking.
