SOURCE: Location of fuel line and fuel pump on a 1988 Subaru Justy

I imagine you have found it by now but just in case, the fuel pump and filter are mounted on the underside of the frame just ahead of the left rear suspension.

Ok here's a couple helpfuls before i start if you have PB Blaster, that works great on spindle bolts. Another thing you will need is a long pry bar (maybe a crowbar if you had to) with a flat tapered end. You will need to remove your tire, spray the PB Blaster on the axle nut, and the 2 spindle bolts going through the strut.remove the axle nut, and the 2 spindle bolts, and seperate the strut from the spindle. Then swing the spindle and push down on it as you remove the axle spline from the hub. Once you do that, check the transmission side of the axle, to see if it has a "doul roll pin" that you need to tap out with a hammer and punch, but it may be the simple locking ring internaly at the end of the splined shaft. Then all you do is pry it back, make sure you have a very firm place to use for leverage, and give it a hard shove and it should pop right out. or you may need to repeat the prying step a few times. When installing the new axle, make sure it's snapped in completely on the transmission side so you don't damage it. Then all you need to do is reassemble it all.
Also when doing this, make sure you support the car by the body, behind the front wheel under the fender/door area. you will need to let the lower controal arm hang to do this.
Hope that does it for you,
Good luck!

First you need to go to the local parts store and get a steering wheel puller and a clock spring compressor tool. You can rent them but just cheaper to buy it and return it. I got mind like 35 bucks together.
You will remove the horn button just by pulling it towards you be careful not to rip the horn wire out. Next there may be a retainer clip remove it with a pair of needle nose pliers. Next get a breaker bar or a impact gun to back the center nut off. Once off use the steering wheel puller by inserting the threaded bolts into the threaded holes directly beside the center pin. ease the puller onto the center pin and tighten down until the steering wheel starts to move back towards you continue until off. On some trucks there is a steel plate covering the housing to the left side and towards the top are two small torx screws remove them and remove the cover. Next grab your clock spring compressor and install it similar to the way you did the wheel puller you will tighten down the center bolt slightly decompressing the clock spring. as you compress the clock spring look to the center there is a small retainer clip that looks like it is made into the center pin pry the clip off making sure not to damage it and remove the compressor tool, remove the clock spring making sure to pay attention on how it comes apart you can put it all back together. Remove the turn signal switch should be 3 phillips head screws. You may need to disconnect the horn wire at this point it just turns slightly and pulls out. After you remove the clock spring you will see the lock cylinder body, follow the body towards the center pin. There will be a small torx bit or a phillips screw to it will be silver and very shinny at the end of the lock housing remove it and slide the lock cylinder out. Install the new one and reverse the steps.
hope this helps...........good luck!

SOURCE: Steering wheel clicks on 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback wagon

steering column bearing sounds like a worn out steering column... jack the front wheels off the ground both sides relieve load on steering wheel to see if it lessens the amount of feel and noise, if it does it shoud be the column bearing, replace bearings or complete column,,, also try with the wheels off the ground and safely supported to manualy steer the wheels by hand and see if you feel in roughness or hear any noises, should some minor resistance but be smooth in it movement if everything suspension and steering component wise is in good working condition... please rate my help.. thanks...

Fuse should be in the main fuse block and usually is labelled. If not labelled, pull them all one at a time until you find the blown one.

Front wheel excel

Get out the axle cotter pin on the axle nut. Loosen the Axle nut while the car is on ground. Loosen wheel nuts. Jack up car and place jack stands underneath. Go underneath car and turn the wheel till you can see the pin through the inner part of the axle, which connects to gear box. you have to take out that pin carefully. hammer pin out from unchamfered side.
Take off wheel remove the axle nut the plain washer and the conical washer.
Now if you don't want to remove the ball joint remove the bolt from the suspension arm, to locate it look at the arm to which the ball joint is connected and trace it to its pivot point.
Pull the complete hub axle assembly in a straight direction, which would remove the inner joint from the gear box. Take a rubber mallet and carefully hammer the axle out from the hub. Please remember that when axle is removed the hub and disc may fall off so be careful.
Please use new axle nut, plain washer, conical washer and cotter pin during reinstall
