brake squeak is normal unless it is really really bad, it has to do with so many different factors I will not even go into it, but i will say this, if u used other than Factory replacement brake pads then u most likely have created the problem. If u wish much more detail I suggest you pay to use the live chat option, that of course is up to u and I only suggest this, other experts may anwser in the free forum and u can put the whole thing togeather from there combined comments

You will need to take out the brake pads and put some copper ease grease on the back pf the pads,,,not the frounts,,,only the backs!
this should stop the squeak

New brakes squeaking

Sounds like you may have had soft compound brake pads before and now been replaced with metal compound pads.metal pads great for long wearing and long life but squeal a lot and are harder to stop the vehicle.

you can try to give front brakes a good pressure wash or hose the dust off as this is usually the reason for the squealing.

Break pedal squeaking

is the squeak inside the car? if so, then yes it's probably the pedal or linkage. If it's outside the car, then either the brakes were done poorly or the pads are defective. Assuming you had the front and rear brakes done. Could be the other brakes if only 1 axle was serviced.

My front brakes squeak, I replaced the pads but the squeak is still there. These have squeaked for a long time?

There is an ongoing problem with squeaking front brakes on dodge rams and charger rt.From 2000 up to present Ihave been told dodge used cheap pads and rotors on a lot of there cars and trucks.I own a 2008 charger rt with 40000 miles and changed brake pads and rotors twice and they still squeak.i herd only remedy is to buy upgraded pads and rotors but these are much more expensive then stock parts. For now i am putting up with squeak till i get the extra money to get rid of noise.the brakes wont fail they just squeak.(I know very annoying)for now i just turn up radio a little louder LoL.But until dodge admits there using cheap ???? parts complaining to dealer didnt help.Good luck. PS A friend of mine put on slotted rotors and expensive pads and yes the still squeak. So mabye it has somthing to do with calipers but again dodge wont admit this.

Squeaky Brakes

there is two things that can cause brakes to squeak: brake dust and not having some brake antisqueak on the back of the pads.
you may have to take off the calipers and put some brake antisqueak on the back of the pads and you can get this at any auto store and see if that helps with the squeaking

Loud squeaking brakes.

If they are wearing down, they may squeak, and some brakes have a metallic part that will come in contact with the rotor when the wear gets to a certian point making an awful squeaking sound telling you that mabe you should change 'em soon, eh
