Question about 1991 Ford Aerostar Extended
Replaced compressor and I am recharging R-12. Need to know how much mineral oil to add to each component. Vehicle has rear AC. System was flushed clean but I do not want to replace hoses/134 convert.
I installed new auto orifice tubes in both evaporators. Replaced accumulator and condenser.
R-12 isn't designed to work in an vehicle so I have no idea what to tell you there. R-22 was used in vehicles but is not available to the general public without a license which cost more than the R-134 conversion kit.
