Below is a link to the diagnostic routines for OBD1 Mazda fault codes, go to page 21 of the PDF file for the troubleshooting of code 69. this is a fairly large file so be patient when downloading, it is safe.

Sounds like you might need a new oxygen sensor and possibly a crank sensor. but that's a lot of codes if the engine runs without overheating it might be the computer or something along those lines.

Ive hada code test that confirmed my 97 mazda626 needsa map sensor ive changedit and my check engine light still on is there a reason why?

Codes have nothing to do with changing any parts

OBD Fault codes are used in testing vehicle systems

You have to understand how the system that set the code
works & how the components work & how to test them, to
see if they have failed & separate the possibility of a mechanical
problem & not a sensor

What could cause a truck to run rough when there is no check engine light on it?

Multiple things depending on the year. Valve adjustment is one of those things including a damaged camshaft. Low compression is one of the cylinders is also a possibility. OBD1 is less advanced and does not monitor as many operating aspects of the engine as OBD2. OBD1 is vehicles prior to 1996 and OBD2 is vehicles produced 1996 and later. Bad spark plugs on a OBD1 system will not illuminate a check engine light while on a OBD2 system you will get a misfire code.

Dies driving f150 1994

The engine in this year is controlled by a computer (called the ECM), the system is called the OBD1 electronic engine control system or EEC IV by Ford. Whenever you have a problem like yours the system will store a fault code in the memory of the computer, what you need to do now is have the OBD1 system tested for codes, you can do this using the Check engine light blink out code. Go HERE to learn to run a fault code test on the EEC IV system.

O/d light blinks when driveing o/d seems to be engaged car has 198000 miles and runs very good also engine light is on

O/D light blinks, but with that the check engine light is ON.--- This will make your troubleshooting easier. When the check engine light comes on, and remains on, this indicates that there is error stored in your cars computer.---- Once the computer is scanned, you will get error codes, as per that error code it will point towards faulty part, which is causing the O/D light to blink.-------- Most probably the O/D light blinks, If a problem exists in No. 1 or No. 2 solenoids or speed sensors .
--------------- For car after 1995 it requires OBD2 tool and for car before 1995 it requires OBD1 tool.------- --------- You car will require OBD1 tool. There are very few auto parts store and repair centers who have OBD1 tool.In your case you required OBD1 tool.------ You can just contact local auto-parts store and they will guide you to the nearest store who has OBD1 tool. There you can get your car scanned. If there is error set in your cars computer, then you will receive the error code.As per error code it will point towards the faulty part causing this problem in your car.------------- -------------- The codes which you get is scanning will be mostly any of this following codes:--- DTC P0500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction
. DTC P0750 - Shift Solenoid "A" Malfunction
. DTC P0753 - Shift Solenoid "A" Electrical Malfunction
. DTC P0755 - Shift Solenoid "B" Malfunction
. DTC P0758 - Shift Solenoid "B" Electrical Malfunction
. DTC P0770 - Shift Solenoid "E" (SL) Malfunction
. DTC P0773 - Shift Solenoid "E" (SL) Electrical Malfunction
. DTC P1520 - Stop Light Switch Signal Malfunction
. DTC P1705 - Direct Clutch Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction
. DTC P1765 - Shift Solenoid Valve SLN Circuit Malfunction
. DTC P1780 - Park/Neutral Position Switch Malfunction
--------------- Now it all depends on what code you get, as per that you can replace the following part.------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
