Yes there is a fuse, but i think more lights than just reverse lights would be out if the fuse was bad. there is a sensor in the tranny which tells the reverse lights to turn on, that sensor might be bad. or there could be a short in a wire which controls positive or ground for the reverse lights, follow the electrical current all the way from the light bulbs themselvs untill you find the problem.
