When you say fit properly I assume you mean it's not going back together. Make sure you have the bearings and races installed correctly on the back side and that you are installing the correct rotor on the correct side with the correct bearings. The front and rear bearings look the same but they aren't and if you try putting that rotor on with the front side bearing installed in the rear of the rotor it will never go back together.

1. Put your car on a level spot for safety and start your car Sienna. 2. For left front rotor, turn your steering wheel to the left all the way and stop the engine. DO NOT put emergency brake on! Put stopping blocks on the passenger front front, rear right and rwear left for safety. 3. Half loosen all front left tire nuts and jack up the left front then loosen all nuts and take the wheel off. 4. Use a 3" G-clamp from Lowes, Home Depot or any store near you, press against brake cylinder so that brake fluid flows back to its reservoir 4. Remove one bolt on the caliper and the other bolt loosen and lift the caliper with the other bolt on and rest on a block. Do not take the rubber hose off nor attend to loosen any brake fluid pipes and nuts. 5. Remove brake pads and remove the nuts on the rotor, done. If your brake system seems to be operating ok, then more than likely the system is low on fluid. As brake pads wear, this allows greater travel in the caliper and thus the caliper piston has to travel further to make the pads come into contact with the brake rotor, causing the fluid level to drop in the reservoir. Once the fluid level drops so far, the brake warning lamp will illuminate. When you check the fluid level, also inspect under the vehicle and around the brake lines for and sign of brake fluid leakage that could be causing you to lose fluid as well.
I have a 2006 Sequoia which should have the similar if not the exact same brake system. Changing the pad is very easy and straight forward. No special wrenth was involved. Easier than sedans since no worry to damage the brake fluid pipe.
No special tools needed, just a 17mm, 21mm. I do not recommend people without training do their own brakes, it is too dangerous to risk peoples lives just to save a few bucks. Also, any pads other than Toyota's will make noise and squeal, so if noise will bother you, use Toyota pads and resurface the rotors.
No special tools at all. Are you familiar with doing brakes? I wouldnt recommend it for a first timer, its not worth the lives of you and others. Ive also seen people take the wrong bolt out of calipers and spend triple what a brake job cost because they werent experienced and wanted to save a buck. A 17mm and pad spreader or big channel locks is all you need. Use Toyota pads and have the rotors cut..OR... Dont complain when they make noise all the darn time!
Are there small retainer clips on the studs still? More than likely its just rust built up on the center hub. Take some sand paper to the center hub, as long as e-brake is released and caliper is off, it will come off. I'm not familar with the toyota sienna's but if they have internal drum e-brakes, I would back off the adjuster if they do.
