It could be a clogged cabin air filter or the most common is a plugged evaporator core, the fins get blocked and stop air flow but i kinda doubt its that if the air folw is bad in heat also, i would check for a blend door problem maybe a bad actuator motor.

This may be because
1.the refrigrant is not sufficient for cooling so the cooling process is not taking place.
2.there may be some leak due to which the refrigrant may drained out
3.the cooling fan is not working properly
4.the radiator is not proper.there are blocks in it which reduces the rate of cooling.
these are the reasons

Why still over heating, replaced all last year, water pump, stat, flushed rad

Possible causes....Poor internal circulation or heat exchange due to blockage or corrosion/scale.
Likely causes.... Electric rad fan (if so equipped) failing to turn on, or broken fan belt (if so equipped), or broken, damaged or missing fan blades, or blockage of air into radiator (lots of bug guts, plastic, paper, debris in general), or damage to radiator itself. (cooling fins are mostly bent over restricting air flow or circulation, scale build up inside of the radiator...not always "flushable" preventing good heat exchange.
One or some of these maybe causing your grief. Good Luck.

Check your coolant level when engine cold, low level coolant does not circulate very well at idle and will cause poor heating,at higher RPM water pump turns faster to help circulate.

I have no heat at idle on 2007 grand vitara but good heat when driving.

Sounds like you are getting poor water circulation, have you ever had to change the water pump? I have in rare cases seen the impellers erode away on the pump and it was no longer able to move water around the cooling system correctly.

Heater not working in extreme cold weather because fan wont shut off. fan has been replace and the computer has been checked. nobody knows what is wrong

I'm making some assumptions, here.. I've been told I make too many assumptions... but, I'm assuming that you're talking about the engine cooling fan.. If I'm correct in this assumption, my guess is that you've not taken the vehicle to a good, reputable mechanic or repair shop. There are several reasons that an engine fan would not turn off, and each reason would have to come from a qualified mechanic. For example, there is a sending unit for the air conditioning system that might cause continuous running... or a sending unit in the air conditioning system that could cause the same thing. To complicate that issue, quite likely your air conditioning system purposely kicks on the engine fan any time you run your defroster. Also, your inside heater should function correctly, regardless of the engine fan running continuously. If I'm wrong on that score, then your engine has a thermostat problem "to boot"... which, by itself, could cause poor heating of the inside of the vehicle. NOW, backing up a little, if you so happen to be talking about the fan INSIDE the vehicle that is part of your heating OR air conditioning, we have a little different matter on our hands... First, some vehicles legitimately have a fan running on slow speed at ALL times.. for continuous air circulation purposes (sometimes, you can't actually hear this). Also, I might add that THIS fan running all the time should not be a problem for the heater to work properly.

Noise when I use the heat very little heat coming from the vents

Angnela, please check your furnace filter. This is a very common issue as these filters sometimes get overlooked. If the filter is plugged it decreases the amount of air able to pass through it resulting in poor air circulation. Also make sure your vents are all open. These is a misconception that closing some vents will push more air to other parts of the dwelling. In essence this is true but it does more harm than good since the HVAC Heating duct system has be specifically designed to move a certain amount of air throughout. You can only push so much air through a 6" round pipe. This is critical in air conditioning as the coil may freeze up f there is not enough airflow across the coil. Let me know if this helps. If not we can dig a little deeper into your issue.

I have 2000 astro van and I'm not getting heat, I changed thermo stat and flushed heater core. Still no heat, whats the next step?

Feel your heater hoses. If both are hot, the core is circulating. If only one is hot-poor or no circulation of the core.
If the heater core is circulating, the temperature blend door may not be working to let blower air pass across the heater core, and into the vents. If vacuum operated, watch the vacuum valves as you move heater controls-you may spot the problem. Check that the vacuum line from the engine to the control switch is working and still connected. If not operated by vacuum, the controls may have cables to the heater case or may be electrically operated. You'll just have to scope it out. Good luck.

VW Touran suffering from poor air circulation

First check the cabin air filter. All the air goes through this before the system. They need repacement every 15,000, or they get dirty and don't work well.

Overheated truck

Your radiator is getting clogged up with mud causing the lack of air flow through the radiator. You may want to install a mud deflector in front of your radiator to keep the mud from clogging up the radiator and may be run your antifreeze ratio 40/60 (antifreeze/water) the higher the water content the better the heat transfer, but your have to keep an eye on the level of the coolant level more often. Water will evaporate quicker but too muck antifreeze will have poor heat transfer and 100% antifreeze will gel when heated causing poor circulation causing overheating. Good luck and hope this helps.

1998 S10 heat wont work sometimes

When you say the heat doesn't work are you meaning the fan doesn't blow out hot air or just doesn't blow out any air? if it blows cold air sometimes when you have the heat on then it could be poor circulation through your radiator or a weak water pump. make sure your radiator is clean on the inside, not too corroded or nasty inside. You can buy a radiator flush thing from wal-mart or any auto parts store. See if it helps.
