Try changing or switching out the distributor. Most likely getting hot and shuts down. Does it crank but no start whenever it stops? May only start when it cools down again.

How about replacing the coil - might have a thermal issue and shut down when it gets hot.

It sounds like your ignition coil is overheating. Once it cools down it will fire properly until it gets hot again. Replace the ignition coil and you should be all set.

If car is parked for 45min running will it restart?
Most likely you have a fuel pump getting hot & shutting down cools off & then will restart. The fuel pump relay could also do this.

On my f150 5.0 it starts good cold but after i drive for awhile maybe 5 miles i shut it off and start it again it is ok.But if i wait 15 min it wont start.you can try but after it cools off it will start...

It could be a spark plug problem..I would remove a few of them to see what they look like. It may not be firing very well when it gets hot, and new spark plugs are never a real bad investment, since they're generally very cheap. Not sure on this, but it's a good place to check.

1995 Ford F-250 replaced fuel filter and alternator, but the truck runs for a few miles then it stalls...or acts like it is out of fuel. it will not start until it has been setting for awhile

Sounds like fuel pump could be on it's way out. Obviously you don't have access to a fuel pressure tester for when it's a no start situation, so maybe try this. Grab a can of WD-40 & a screwdriver/nut driver, that will allow you to take intake hose off at throttle body inlet. Next time it quits, remove air intake hose, open throttle plate & spray WD-40 for a couple of seconds into throttle body. Try to start, if it does, for a second or 2, replace fuel pump. I believe what's happening is once the pump gets warm/hot, is quitting, then sitting, it cools down & pumps up to pressure again. This will confirm.
