Check the fuses

    The fuse will be marked dash or guages depending on when the car was built
    The fuses are located in two places under the hood on the passenger side near the firewall and on the drivers side behind a panel on the left side have to get on your knees to really see it.

Usually if both stop working the speed sensor in the transmission has failed, but the check engine light should also be on.

My gauges stopped working,(speedometer,tack fuel and temp. Checked all 2 pronged fuses,all ok


from the sound of it then its a complete new speedo head unit if its one of the newer type say more modern than a 2000 .And OUCH its not cheap so try a scrap yard

My tack meter and speedometer aint functional.


Check wire harness that goes to the trunk lid , it's attached to the left hinge . If it has broken and shorted wire , it may make your custer to go craizy.

Speedometer, gas guage, tack all quit working.


Sounds like you have blown a fuse check your fuse box and replace any fuses you find. Hope that helps
