I found solution. In my case problem was with connection next to the small electronic module next to the gear wheel. It is module directing red light in proper 'P', 'R', 'N' and 'D' letter.

Why won't my Mini Cooper start

This may be an issue with the key fob or an issue with the starter. is the engine turning over? it seems that the car can be put on "On" mode, but not "Start" mode. I would check the key fob and the starter (if the engine does not turn over). Also, check to see if the car computer is issuing any check engine codes. You may have to take it to the dealer.

Open the FOB and replace the battery. The two halves of the fob come apart and there is a battery that you can replace.

I hooked up the jumper cables wrong to a Mini Cooper 2005 and it wont start. What should I do?

load test the battery. Test the alternator with a multimeter, it should read between 13.3 and 14.6 volts dc. Test the alternator at idle and rev the engine to 2000 rpm. The multimeter probes are place on the battery terminals. Look for corrosion between the battery and the battery clamps. Baking soda cleans the corrosion.

My 2005 escape will not start i had the battery fully charged but the alarm sound is very low, when turning the key all the gages jump, check engine light and battery light had been on prior to shutting...

Fully charging a bad battery is a waste of time as the bad cell discharges internally. Best have a load test done on the battery to eliminate it first.

check for voltage going to the small solenoid wire on the starter. if you have 12 volts change the starter.

2004 Mini Cooper automatic.Car won't turn over. Battery indicating 14 volts using multi-meter. I get a single click when I turn the key, then nothing. I suspect bad solenoid. Not sure how to test/check...

if the clicking noise is from the starter, you can tap the starter while someone tries to start the car.if it turns over and starts then the starter motor will need to be replaced.if you can get to the starter, using the multi-meter you can check to make sure the solenoid is getting battery voltage at the wire that gets voltage when the key is turned.if you do and you have battery voltage at the larger wire on the starter then this will also indicate the stater motor has a bad spot in it and will have to be replaced.the clicking noise is usually an indication that the solenoid is working passing the voltage to the starter armature but the starter is drawing too much amperage to turn the motor over.either way its recommended to replace the complete unit as if the solenoid is bad the motor itself will usually go bad shortly after.
