WELL THE DELCO MORAINE ABS BRAKE SYSTEM HARD TO BLEED WITHOUT A TECH 1 SCAN TOOL.YOU HAVE TO RAISE PISTONS IN THE HYDRALIC MODULATOR TO THE HOME POSITION BEFORE BLEEDING THE SYSTEM. THE DEALERSHIP OR GARAGE WILL HAVE TO PRESSURE BLEED AND USE TECH 1 SCAN TOOL.IF YOU HAD THE OLD SCHOOL NON ABS BRAKE SYSTEM YOU CAN MANUAL BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM WITH NO PROBLEMS.

No breaks after bleeding them

Did you bleed the brakes properly? One person pumps the brake pedal then holds it down while another person loosens and then retightens the bleeder valve. This way no air can enter the brake line which can dramatically affect braking pressure and thus have no brakes at all.

Bleeding breakes on 2004 ponyac grand am

You can try to bleed just front but I recommend bleeding all 4. by starting at R/Rear (farthest from Master cyl.) then L/Rear then R/Front then L/Front. Have someone pump them up with out car running and hold foot on pedal till you crack bleeder loose then tighten before they let up on pedal, check reservoir in m.c. each time so you don't run out of brake fluid .

My uncle replaced the power steering pump in my 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix but I am still having a whining noise. What is the proper way to bleed the pump of air for a Grand Prix?

the power steering pump, you need to bleed out the rack, this is done by filling the power steering system then turning the wheel from left to right in quick repitions.

How would I bleed brakes for a 1998 pontiac grand am gt?

Fill the master cylinder with brake fluid..you would start from thevalve farest from the master cylinder first. Have someone pump up the brakes and hold the brakes to the floor while u loosen the bleedrer valve on the wheel. the brake pedal will slower go to the floor while pressure is being applied. tighten the valve then have your helper pump the brakes again till they get hard and hold them while you looseen the bleeder valve on the wheel again. Do this a couple of times in each wheel until the fluid runs steady out the bleeder valve, Then proceed to the next one.Good Luck!!!

Back rear window wont go down

Sounds like you may have a window regulator that has gone bad. Remove the door panel and check for power to the window regulator connector. The window motor may be ok but the regulator breaks and it is sold as a complete unit. A common problem on G.M. vehicles. Hope this helps.

Starting my 1998 pontiac grand am SE

Have you tryed turning on the ignition and waiting a few (15 to 20) seconds before starting?...If the fuel pressure is "bleeding off" when the car sits, it may take a couple of seconds for it to build back up to normal.
