If you can see a small metal cable around the latching area just pull
it as hard a you can until it pops. I use to wrap a paper click around
the cable (since it was small enough to get into the tight area) and
used plyers to pull on it to unlatch the hood. Tried pulling the cable with pliers, it didn't budge.
Also, its possible that you are interesting in the 2004-Chrysler-Crossfire-Owners-Manual
Hope helps.
Where should I look for the cable?
Jack it up and try to get to the hood latch from underneath the car.
You can pull the lower left portion of the grill out and snake your hand
up by the hood latch. You need to find the bar where the latch cable
goes and pull it towards the drivers side the same way the cable would.

When a headlight burns out on your Chrysler
Crossfire, you do not need to rush to the repair shop to have it
replaced. You can access the headlights in your Crossfire from within
the engine compartment, allowing you to change the headlight yourself.
The Crossfire uses an H7U headlight bulb, which you can find at auto
parts retail stores or at a Chrysler dealership.
