How do i find the cabin air filter in a Toyota Solara 2004? can they be cleaned or do they need replaced?

that air filter is behind the glove compartment, you have to squeeze the sides of the compartment to remove it. Then slide out the air filter. It can be cleaned depending on the amount of filth on it. Blow it out with an air hose, but be careful to not rip it. Next time, it would most likely need replacing.

Not cooling as before

If you are talking about the AC, then I suggest cleaning or replacing the cabin air filter located behind the glove box. See your owners manual for details. If problem persists replace the AC clutch relay ( rockauto.com $11), located in the under hood fuse box towards the front of the fuse box.

Where is the engine air filter located?

Its under the hood, should be easy to find. Follow the Big Black tube from the engine to the filter.

My cabin air filter needs to be changed. Where is

I just did my 2004 Solara... assuming it's the same, it's very easy. Step 1: take off glove box. (one screw near door to detach operational piston. squeese the dop to release two pins on either side of the box. pull in the direction to open until it comes off.) Step 2: pull out filter container. (push two release levers and pull out) Step 3: replace old filter with new filter. (be sure that the air flow direction is in the correct direction... from down to up. there should be an arrow on the filter.) The filters are available from NAPA auto parts, $20 for the good one, $10 for the economy one.

Need instructions on replacing a drive belt and a cabin filter for a 2006 Toyota Corolla S

The cabin air filter is located behind the glove box, you will have to remove the glove box, behind the glove box is a cover about 1" high and 7" long, remove that cover and you will see a tray that holds the cabin air filter, remove the tray and you can replace the paper cabin air filter, I recomend using a Toyota cabin air filter, the Toyota cabin air filter is a HEPA air filter and is available at any Toyota dealer for about $ 30
