follow your top radiator hose to the engine there should be a metal thing attached with 2 bolts, take them out remove the thermostat either replace the gasket or use high temp silicone to reseal it after you put in the thermostat pointed end up
Hi!!
Drain plug is located on the bottom of the radiator, usually driver's side, it has to be accessed from the bottom of the vehicle. DO NOT OPEN DRAIN PLUG WHEN ENGINE IS HOT OR RUNNING.

actually if i was u i would take it in cus to get to the back 3 spark plugs u have to drop the back of the motor down about a foot or so until u can reach the plugs, or take the intake manifold off. either way its a pain in the ****. but its up to u. good luck to u and i hope this helps u
as i recall, it is on the back of the radiator on the engine side at the bottom, probably under the lower radiator hose. it is a t fitting, probalby really tight, dont break it off. and be sure and have something to hold the coolant and not let it run in the gutter. critters drinking it, especially birds, die from it, and your neighbors get upset when you pollute
I believe the overal coolant capacity (this includes the heater, block, radiator and such is @ 12 quarts. If your draing down your radiator for repair you onle be able to drain out @ 7-8 quarts or so. To get all of the coolant you'd need to remove the drains found in the block (that would be more troble then its worth)
I hope this may have helped,
Tom
