I JUST HAD THIS PROBLEM......ALL U GOTTA DO IS, JUST MOVE YOUR GEAR SHIFTER FROM PARK TO THE LAST GEAR.....KEEP DOING THIS WHILE TRYING TO WIGGLE THE KEY OUT.

It could be the steering lock. Have you tried moving the steering wheel back and forth while turning the key?
You don't say the make or model - on some cars if the shifter is not fully in Park, the key won't turn, as well. Give those a try and let me know.

1st Remove Battery cable from Battery because the only time the air bags will deploy is when the key is in the ignition. I have tilt steering and when I put the steering wheel in the up most position. I came right out. But now it seems to stick more lately.
