Need to find cigarette lighter fuse location - 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The cigarette lighter fuse for a Chevrolet City Express LT is located in the Engine Compartment Fuse Box. The location of the fuse box varies depending on the year of the vehicle. For instance, in 2003-2007 models, the cigar lighter (power outlet) fuses are numbered 29 (Auxiliary Power Outlets) and 30 (Cigarette Lighter). In 2008-2009 models, they are numbered 33 (Auxiliary Power Outlet) and 38 (Cigarette Lighter). In 2010-2022 models, they are numbered 25 (Auxiliary Power Outlet) and 73 (Cigarette Lighter).

On the 2002 GA the cigarette lighter is mini-fuse # 34. This is also referred to as the "accessory power outlets".It's a yellow twenty amp fuse located in the underhood fuse box. In the 2006 Model the Cigarette lighter is located behind the small compartment on the drivers side dashboard left of the steering wheel. Simply lower the compartment door (Fuse box cover) and remove it to access the fuses. Jul 2010

Look for the accessories fuse in the fuse panel. If the fuse is still good then you cigarette lighter is burnt out and will need to be replaced. Hope this will help you.

Hi! The cigarette fuse is somehow interconnected with the radio fuse. If no luck, then i believe that the cigarette lighter needs to be replaced. Hope this helps and have a good one!

On some vehicles the cigarette lighter fuse is attached to the cigarette lighter assembly itself. Check if you can gently prise the cigarette lighter assembly out of its location in the dashboard, or remove any panel that may allow access to the rear of the cigarette lighter and look for the fuse (it may be an in-line one in the power lead to the cigarette lighter or it may be physically attached to the cigarette lighter itself). Failing that, the fusebox is normally under the dashboard on the driver side, but some fuseboxes can be found under the dashboard on the passenger side. There should be a diagram under the fusebox cover that shows what circuits each fuse protects. If a fuse has blown ensure that another of the same type and value is used to replace it.

It is in the rear fuse block, in the trunk under the left side carpet. Good Luck
