Get an R134A kit that has the tube and one can of freon. Install up to 2 or 3 cans of freon by attaching the quick connector to the low side of the a/c under the hood.

Trace the thick tubing from the a/c compressor to this fitting. It may be that it has a blue or black cap that you remove to install the freon.

I wish you luck on this.

How many psi do u need to fill with freon

Freon is not installed with psi. It is installed by vacuum. Proper installation includes vacuum system (if empty of freon) and checking to make sure it holds vacuum for 30 to 60 minutes prior to adding the freon..

I want to know wat kind of ac freon my expadition

It uses the 134 A which is a replacement for freon, but is not freon. It is supposed to be more environmentally friendly, but is not as efficient when it comes to cooling as the old Freon 12. It is illegal in the US for you to have freon in your possession, only authorized shops are allowed to have it and install it.

Need to change out a/c pressure switch on a 95 chrysler cirrus .is it hard to do? 2.5 engine

it is not hard to do just be certain you have the proper socket wrench for removal and installation, proper way to do it is to have the system evacuated with a vacumn pump but if you want it done quick and cheap, be sure the engine is off as well as the a/c...just loosen the switch, wear protective clothes and googles so freon doesn't blind you or give you a spot of frost bite on your fingers when removing the switch. Make sure the new switch has thread sealant on the threads before installing to be certain the threads on the new switch wont allow any freon gas to leak out when the system is running.
IF YOU LOST A LOT OF FREON GET A FREON INSTALL FITTING KIT WITH AT LEAST TWO CANS OF FREON 134A AND INSTALL THROUGH THE LOW FILL PORT WHICH IS THE SMALLER FITTING THAT IS EMBEDDED INTO THE LARGER DIAMETER A/C LINE, (sorry for the caps) .............. make sure you have the a/c system on high blow full a/c and the engine idling while filling the system, if the freon wont gho in due to the a/c compressor clutch not engaging jump the new low pressure a/c switch connector out with a jumper wire accross the two wire terminals until you are done charging the system.
Hope this helps.
Happy Motoring!!

How much freon goes in a 1991 honda civic?

Your Honda takes R12 freon, R12 freon is no longer sold, if your car has not been retro fitted to 134a freon, you will have to buy a retro fit kit, so you can install 134a freon, If it has been or after retro fitted, total freon 1.5 lbs 134a freon.

Is there a synthetic freon for a 1993 geo prism?

freon which is known as R-12 in the industry was replaced with R-134A which is the refrigerant used in your car.. There is a user available replacement which comes in a one pound can that can be installed, however you must have the system evacuated by a garage in order to install it..

How can i recharge the air conditioner? Where is the hose located?

Ok if you want to do a home repair in hopes of saving yourself a lot of money and with hopes your system is not in major trouble, here goes:
First step buy 3 types of 1 lb. cans of refrigerant R134a at a parts store, 1 can of leak detector freon combination, and if possible 1 can freon/air conditioning oil combination freon along with 1 can of straight r134a freon.
The store will sell you a charge hose with a cheap type of charge gauge attachment and fittings to attach to your system for the re-charge.
Providing your system is low on freon,First, with the vehicle running and the a/c on full cold, high fan, install the 1 lb. can of freon/oil combo first only charging through the low pressure side of the system never through the thin line high pressure side as the pressure from the high side can enter the cgharging freon can and explode it like a bomb,(this low side line is the larger hose and the low side charging hose fitting the parts store sells you will only screw onto the low side charge valve which is normally marked "low" on the top of the plastic dust cap that is factory installed(hand screwed) on the low side valve fitting.
Secondly after the oil/combo can is emptied into the low side and you of course are wearing mechanics hand protection gloves and eye protection googles, then and only then will you install the leak dector 1 lb. freon can combo.
Third you will install the last 1 lb can of r134a freon, however your vehicle will not allow the whole last pound of freon into its system by means of a pressure relief blow valve that will automatically blow off any excess pressure once the system over fills, the system typically holds approximately 2.75 lbs. of freon.
If you have successfully installed the above freon into the system it should be up and running providing the system is in fairly good working order, by that I mean it may have a very slow leak that allowed the freon tio originally escape in the first place causing you to refill it, and if it does have a leak the leak detector die that you installed into the system should leak out from wherever it may be escaping from, indicating the place of needed repair by means of a red or blue, or whatever other designated coloration the die gives out from the leaking area.
Please note: Not all home charging techniques typically work as there are many mechanical failure factors in an a/c system that may require a certified a/c technician to determine exactly why your system is not working should the home remedy fail.
I hope this helps you and remember to always work safe with eye and hand protection especially around freon gases which become extremely cold and can cause frost bite when contacting with the bare skin.

I can not install freon in to the system. what

Could be your hooked to the wrong port.

Could be the system is full...what makes you theink you need refrigerant?

By the way FREON(R-12), is no longer used...your system probably takes a refrigerant called R-134a.

You may have a blocked orrifice tube or expansion valve.

My ac blow out hot air and i want to put freon in my self and want to know how

Adding freon will not correct the problem. If you need to add freon, you have a leak, and you have moisture in the system, the leak should be located, mositure removed, then freon added. But to answer your question. Open the hood on, the left side you will see a round object called a dryer, you will see two pipes coming from it, one at the top and one at the bottom. The smaller is the high side, the larger is the low side. Obtain a can of freon either R-22 or 134a with an adapter for installing the freon. Turn the engine on, turn the AC to high. Add the freon to the ac using the low side.
