A/c blows cold on passenger side and warm on driver side

What style of auto? My 2005 Buick has a temp control on both sides of the control panel, driver control and passenger control. Maybe yours does too.

Driver side vents blowing hot air while passenger side blowing cold. A/C is on and temp all the way down on both sides of dual control. Self fix?

On the side that is giving you problems, there is duct work near the floor that bolts to the plenum. There are 4 screws that hold it to the plenum, Remove those screws and the duct. Then you will see the actuator blend door activator. The issue is with the activator. With the duct off you can check to see if it is working,

My heat only works on the driver side and not on pasenger side

I'm no mechanic...but it sounds like something is in your duct work. if you don't have individual climate control for each side (driver and passenger) and it is blowing on one should be blowing on the other. Take a peek through your vents. Good luck!

2005 Ford Freestar van. Only cold blowing out of driverside vents..all other vents are blowing hot. What's going on? Can we fix this ourselves as we don't have the money to get a professional.

flapper valve or lose hose under dash not sending warm air to drivers can fix but may have to remove dash to get to ducts..i just did mine last week...13 hr job

The driver side will blow hot air with AC on

A shutter isnot functioning properly . It's all under the dash and all I can recommend is to see if you can find and adhust it or a shop. Good Luck, Ned

AC unit blows cold on passenger side and warm on driver side.

There are separate blend doors for the passenger and driver's side. The blend doors divert, not block air, so it is unlikely that the blend doors are the problem. You need to check the operation of the re-circ door.
There may be some more duct work that attaches to the heat/air conditioning housing under the dash, that supplies air and or heat to both the driver side and passenger side of the car, the duct work on the driver side may have come disconnected.Check this also.
Hope this helps

1999 Buick Regal drivers side AC blows hot

The battery change and the problem, may coindental or maybe not, your air regulator door actuator is probably stripped our just worn out, the regulator is attached to the damper that controls the drivers side air over the two coils. shouldn't be to hard to locate, but will require laying on your back and removing the under dash panel. it will probably be a small rectangular shaped module mount to the duct at a damper door! i hope this helps, if you want exact instructions they can be found at for 20 bucks. Merry Christmas!
