I would check the fuel relay on this. They always go bad and the symptom is that as you are driving the car cuts out and will not start. Leaves you having to coast to a stop. Problem will only get worse to a point where it will not start again until replaced.

It could be the fuel pump overheating and seizing up but I doubt it , it would be completely dead by now. My guess would be ignition module or coil. they can become intermitent when they get heated up. You might have to have a mechanic look at it , that is often cheaper than trying yourself and changing out perfectly good parts.

The car runs for a while then cuts off it has 207 miles on it and runs like it has a mis in it . i have already changed the plugs wires and now im at a stand still between the crank senser and the fuel...

Usually a fuel filter will make it run bad and lack power, not just cause it to die. I'm thinking crank sensor. But usually a bad crank sensor won't cause it to miss. Usually when they are bad it will either run or it won't or it will just die and not start back up. The miss might be another problem.

It cut off and won't start back up. What is wrong?

There is a good chance your fuel pump or ignition module went out... Without more info, its hard to tell.

Hope this helps...

I cannot get the car started.

most likely the fuel pump will need to be replaced. only way to replace is to drop the fuel tank and remove the pump from the top. the 92 camaro did not come with the emergency fuel cutoff switch. best way to find out is to turn the ignition on and listen at the fuel fille spout you should be able to hear it pretty good from there if it is working. to drop the tank ... you will need a jack, 2 jack stands and a standard socket set ... just jack up the car and support it by the stands. make sure you put something in front of the front wheels. remove the 2 fuel tank straps and lower the tank ... installing the tank will be easier if it is empty ... just drain the gas into a clean garbage can or small pail depending on how much fuel you have in it. just make sure you strain he fuel before putting it back in or you can look to possibly replacing the fuel filter.

Can you describe how the car isn't running well? Is it idling rough, or getting bad gas mileage, or something else? Being a 93 it's an OBD 1 car (emissions standards) and the engine codes can help, but they're not extremely descriptive (not nearly as much as a 96 or newer car, which is OBD 2). If you have a shop with a scanner, they can scan the car and tell you the codes, and that'd help you with a starting point for troubleshooting. Also, take a look at - it's an enthusiasts' site for Talons and Eclipses, and you may well find everything you need right there.
