Question about 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee
This is what you need to do: Unground the wire you mention. Close the hood and the liftgate and flipper glass. Close all doors. lock everything out. Wait 30 seconds. Insert the key en either front door or liftgate until the interior light comes on. Next open the driver door. Ground the wire you have mentioned, leave it grounded. Start the engine. That sequence should do it.
