Question about 1996 GMC Yukon
My 1996 GMC Yukon 4x4 transmission will only drive in 1 and 2 gear. When I put it in 3 or drive, the RPM shoot up and then have to drive in 2 gear. What do you think this is and how much to fix? Thanks
It will take off from a stop in overdrive but as soon as it shifts into 3rd at about 30 miles per hour it jumps into neutral? If yes, you have a burnt 3/4 clutch. The transmission will need rebulit. Cost of about 1600 dollars.
