Question about 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix
I have a 2001 pontiac grand prix and the service engine light is on and i have taken it to get checked but some how there is no pwer going to the switch that you plug the tester into so i can see whats wrong with the car
You might have blown the 15 amp fuse that powers the cigarette lighter socket. This fuse also powers pin #16 in the test connector and if there isn't any power at pin #16 then the scan tool can't read engine data. Hope this helps out!
