I have a Chrysler 1997 lhs wont start clicking noise replaced alternator and starter cleaned terminals PLEASE HELP I AM LOST

Quick question: did you remember to put in a new battery? Usually, a clicking noise indicates that the battery is way down and cannot provide enough juice to fire the solenoid that fires the starting motor.

The starting motor is a small electric device that engages the crankshaft and turns it so that your vehicle's cylinders are charged with fuel and air. Then, the cylinder that is a top dead center fires and the ignition process begins.

1999 chrysler lhs was stolen and the ignition cylinder was messed up bad and i lost my keys to try and start it. how do i remove the ignition cylinder without a key to replace it with another one

You will have to disconnect he battery first and remove the steering wheel, autozone or advance auto parts rent the tool to remove the steering wheel. If not check around the steering wheel for some screws the hold the plastic that holds the trim around the steering wheel take them off and u might have access to the ign lock cyl but normally you wont be able to since u lost the key.

Starter just spins after ignition wire replaces - no fire

Sounds like you have the starter wires hooked up wrong and to continuous power. If starter shuts off with the key now, but wont engage the motor, you may need shims so that the starter drive lines up with the motors fly wheel

2000 Chrysler LHS- Key won't turn! Tried to hotwire it, but seems it's all electronic? HELP!

Well hopefully you didn't mess any of the wiring up by trying to hot wire it. But most likely the tumblers in the lock cylinder are worn out. If you replace the ignition switch it should solve the issue.

I have been having to turn the key back slightly after starting my 97 LHS to get the accessories (heater/ac windows ) etc to work. This worked for a bit but now doesn't work. I have read the Chilton book...

According to the symptoms you are mentioning it sounds like you will need to replace both the ignition lock cylinder and the interlock cassette.
