2005 chevrolet silverado 1500 a/c condenser replacement

Here anything airconditioning is considered rather specialist as the gases used are environmentally unfriendly and only suitably qualified people are allowed to commercially handle those gases.

Changing a condenser involves de-gassing and re-gassing the system and any gas in the system should be recovered and stored and there are heavy fines for those caught releasing gas into the atmosphere, though once de-gassed, theoretically anyone could carry out the work though it would be unwise for a person without experience and access to repair instructions.

Does a A/C Condenser Fan Motor for a 99 oldsmobile Intrigue leak?

Condensation from the airconditioning system is supposed to leak out from the drain hose which runs from the interior, down to the exterior of the bulkhead can become trapped if that drainage hose has become blocked, or if it has become dislodged.
So the fan unit won't produce condensation, but condensation if not flowing out correctly can accumulate there on some models.

Airconditioning gets cold for a while then goes warm. i replaced low presure switch. still not working right

Is the condensor near the radiator clogged up with debris? If so temperature gets too high after compression which disengages the AC clutch. If there's an extra ventilator in front of the condenser it should kick in too.

Rear vents blow only hot air when air conditioning is on, what can this be?

make sure the compressor is working with gas in it , you should see condensation on the low presure line from compresor to firewall should be cold to touich if so set heater/air con controls to recirc button not fresh

Mercedes benz airconditioning

You might check the cooling fans on the condenser to see if they are running when the ac is on.If they are not check for blown fuse,or bad cooling fan relay.Do you notice if the ac cools better when running constantly, and the ac is not so cool when in traffic, stopping and going, and running slow?If so the cooling fan,or fans are not working. If the fan fuse and the relays check out fine, then replace the fan,or fans.If I can help any more please

You have to measure the oil in the old compressor and then add a small amount, usually about 2 oz's this is for a system that has been run, the oil circulates with the refrigerant, so oil is in every component, you really need to consult a factory service manual to come up with the proper amount, it is based on which components you are replacing. Bottom line is what ever you drain out is what goes back in + a small amount, if you get it wrong you can end up with a frozen up compressor or a system that does not cool correctly.
