You will see a winged tab that pulls out or unscrews out. Try unscrewing first to drain. If it just spins many times without coming out it will need to be pulled outward to open. It will be mounted on the lower part of the radiator tank

How do you remove the transmission drain pan on a 2003 Chevy S-10 ZR5? All of the bolts are removed, but we cant get the pan off to drain and clean the pan??

Once you have removed the bolts, sometimes you have to take a thin flat object and insert it inbetween the pan and the transmission as the adhesive used to seal the pan gasket will hinder the removal of the pan itself. Hope that helps.

Drain plug radiator location

Hi!!!

Drain plug is located on radiator bottom facing engine, driver side.

Note: Never open drain plug when radiator is hot, wait for it to cool down, remove radiator cap to release pressure then open drain plug.

Can not find drain on radiator of a 2003 gmc

It should be there. Just look hard under the radiator back-side wall, or directly under the radiator.

Removing drain plug in radiator in 2003 sunfire

The textbook method is to remove the drain plug on the bottom of the radiator.

Most drain plug is make of inexpensive nylon/plastic and it may fall apart while you turn it.

The professional method is to loosen the lower radiator clamp and drop to lower radiator hose.

Drain the coolant onto a large drain pan and recycle the coolant

How do I get to the radiator drain plug? 2003 Astro Van

Great news for you, the best way to drain the radiator is to remove the lower radiator hose. The bad news is that OEM radiator came with no drain plug and you can have one put in after you remove the radiator to drill a hole and tap in a $6.00 radiator drain plug for NAPA auto parts. Good luck and hope this helps. this was a way for GM to save money by one less parts to have make, since most auto mechanic just remove the lower radiator hose to drain the radiator. Good luck and hope this helps. If your luck and your Astor does have one, you can find the drain plug on the lower drivers side of the radiator, engine side.

Cannot drain radiator in my 2003 dodge durango to flush system

I'm guessing that you do not have a radiator drain plug. It would be located on the bottom of the radiator. If not the next best solution is to disconnect the lower radiator hose. You will only need to loosen the clamp, and slide the hose off the radiator. Don't forget to have something to use to collect the fluid. Keep it off until you are ready to refill. Hope this helps

You will have to jack the car up and get under it to get to the drain valve, it is located on the back side of the radiator tank, drivers side, if not there then opposite side..
