Back in the day we used to stick the radio code stickers either in the glove box or on the trunk hinge.

You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

Acura anti theft compact dis digtal 1xjo need code.

whenever you lose power the radio will go into anti-theft mode and needs a code. this code was provided in the original paperwork with the vehicle. it is printed on a small white label. if you do not have the code take your car to a honda dealership. using your vin no. they can retrieve the code, as long as it is the original radio.

Please help me to get the code number to unlock the radio for honda crv 2003

    • 1 Look in your owner's manual booklet for your radio anti-theft code. The code is printed on a small card (similar to a credit card) and included with your owner's manual. If you can find the code, skip to Step 5.
If you cannot find the code, you'll need to retrieve it.
    • 2 Turn your ignition off to begin retrieving your radio code. Press and hold the "1" and "6" preset buttons on your radio. Turn your ignition on.
    • 3 Write down the code displayed on your radio. The display will flash with two numbers: one beginning with a "U" and one beginning with a "L." Write down both numbers (beginning with the "U" number), and then disregard the "U" and the "L."
This number (eight digits) is your radio serial code. You'll need it to retrieve your radio anti-theft code.
    • 4 Contact Honda to retrieve your radio anti-theft code. You'll need your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number, found beneath the driver's side of the windshield and your radio serial code. Honda's customer service number is (800) 999-1009. Provide the representative with the information to acquire your radio anti-theft code.
You can also retrieve your radio anti-theft code online for free at https://radio-navicode.honda.com/
    • 5 Turn your ignition to "Acc" or "On" to power on your radio. Enter your radio anti-theft code using the preset buttons at the bottom of your radio. For example, if your anti-theft code is "55512," you would press the "5" button three times, then the "1" button, then the "2" button. This will unlock and reset your Honda radio.

ANTI THEFT SYSTEM PREVENTING CAR TO START

You will need to get the code to your car and reset it. If you still have a owner manual, it may be in that. If you don't, you will need to call the dealership to get the specific code for your car. You will need your vin number and all your other information, registration, proof of insurance, ect. Some may not ask for all that, but they will let you know. If you need anything, let me know. I am here to help you. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Replacing car battery 2005 acura tl radio does not work "CODE" appears on radio

This is the security code for theft radio system; add it; the radio code generaly is in back side of the radio, or in the owners manual (last page). If you dont have anyone, need to call the Acura dealer with the VIN car number (sometimes need to pay for this service).

Hope helped (remember coment and rated this post).

Need the anti-theft code for stereo system in a 1992 Acura Vigor

The only place to get this code is from the dealership. They will enter the code as it maybe different for each car. This happens when the battery has been changed without the backup power supply. As you may have guessed this is to keep would be thieves from reselling your radio.

Acura car stereo lock codes my stereo needs a code is a Acura 3.0CL now it says err-3 can some one help

err-3 means you have entered incorrect anti-theft radio code more that three times. If you do not have radio code you can most of the time find the code card tucked away in the owners manual pouch.(looks like a bussiness card)If you are unable to find card you would have to pull radio from dash and retrive stereo serial number, which is on bottom side of radio.once you have s/n you can take s/n to any acura dealership(has to be a dealer)and they can get radio code for that stereo through Honda Corp.once you have correct radio code you will need to first unplug radio,or disconnect battery to reset radio memory, then type in radio code.again if entered incorrectly 3x ,radio would need to be reset again too clear error codes.good luck!
