Engine wont turn over even though all dash lights work when key on.

This is the classic symptom of a bad battery. Your engine requires a lot of power to crank but the little lights in your dash require very little. if the battery is even a little drained it won't crank the engine, but everything else will seem to work fine. Either jumpstart the car (if it starts, then you likely need a new battery) or test the voltage at the battery terminal when trying to start the car. If the voltage drops below 12 volts you need a new battery (or at least a freshly charged one)

I have a 2002 f150 I worked on starter and got going but now my radio wipers reverse lights and heater will not work. Please help I'm cold!!!!

Sorry about that! It appears you may have blown a bunch of fuses in your driver's under dash fuse box by possibly arcing voltage from the starter connection to the battery. Check it out...there are too many devices not working for anything else other than a ground wire under the dash coming loose or a multiple wire connection under the dash coming loose....

I WANT TO FIX PRESTIGE CAR ALARM IN THE CAR' AND HOW TO CONECT THE WIRES

Below is a fast installation guide for most car alarm systems. Refer to your manual were needed. Car alarms can be hard to set up and include bands of wiring and sensing elements to instal. Take it step by step and taking after the operating instructions cautiously.

Steps to installing a car alarm system.
1. Mount the siren to a solid surface under the hood. Make sure that you point the horn of the siren toward the ground so that moisture won't affect the sound or horn.
2. Drill a hole through a rubber grommet in the firewall of the car and feed the sirens wire through the hole into the passenger compartment of the car.
3. Feed the power wire through the same hole on the passenger side. Make sure there is enough slack to reach the car's battery. 4. Connect the alarm's power wire to the battery.
5. Put a fuse on the power wire next to the battery.
6. Mount the shock sensor as described in the car alarm's manual.
7. Drill holes in the dash were you will want to place the LED status indicator. Feed the LED's wire through the hole and place the double-sided mounting tape to the back of the LED and place it over the hole in the dash.
8. Find the wires that work the car's power door locks.
9. Connect the door-lock relay to the lock/unlock wires and connect the alarm wire to the relay in the manner described by the tech advisor. 10. Locate the wire that works the courtesy light if the alarm has current sensing.
11. Connect the current sensing line from the alarm to the courtesy light wire.
12. Locate the factory door trigger if the alarm does not have current or voltage sensing.
13. Connect the factory door trigger to the alarm.
14. Locate the starter wire on the steering column below the starter switch. Cut the line and connect the starter disable relay. Connect the starter disable wire from the alarm to the relay.
15. Mount the valet switch somewhere under the dash.
16. Connect all the wires to the proper inputs and outputs of the alarm.
17. Find a sturdy surface under the dash and mount the module under the dash.
18. Use tie wraps to secure the wires of the harness and mount it under the dash.
19. Arm the alarm and test. Adjust the sensitivity as needed.

Digital meters/inst.on dash dont work/come on

Check the digital dash power supply. You can find rebuilt, new or places that will let you send in your power supply and they will repair it for you. The cost ranges from about $50 to $150 US depending on wether you do the entire dash and power supply or just the power supply. The unit is fairly simple to access and replace just a couple screws and two pluges to take out. The power supply is a silver box about 3.5 inches x 3.5 inches x 2. inches thick and has two tabs extending from two oposite sides with a hole in each for the screws. The unit is located under the dash on the driver side just behind the botom plate under the steering column as best I recall going off memory.

I need to know what colors mean what, so i can hook my cd player up

Red - Power
Yellow - primary power must be joined to the red
blue - Remote
Black - ground or negative
To find your speaker wires check the color of the cord behind each speaker than match it with the same color in the dash.
or the easy way is to use a normal 1.5v penlight battery and try each speaker cord behind the dash and listen to which speaker give off a crackling noise so you can get the balance on the cd player right.
If u trying to find power in the car and don't have a tester than get a 12v light or bulb join the negative to the body and push the positive wire into each one of the holes in the factory plug in the dash one at a time until the light comes on. That is your positive the rest is easy. (DIY guru)

Get a new battery. The battery seems to be too drained of power. It will still light the dash but does not have enough power to turn the starter.Of course, before buying the battery, have it tested. Probably has a dead cell.

On the air conditioner, it seems you may have the condenser drain hose pulled out of the dash hole that leads to the outside and the water that condenses goes into the car instead of to the street. Of course, it also could be that the plastic housing is cracked and the water leaks out through that.
