You have to remove the screw in the middle, get a ball joint seperator and pop it loose, then use a wrench and take it off.

You can go to autozone . com and register for free. Then login, choose your vehicle, then choose view repair manual for a free repair manual for your car. It will have step by step directions with pics

Need to remove the old bearing from a 1994 ford thunderbird and replace it by hand. How do I do this and which direction do you go for removal.

bearing come out on the side they went in.
bearings r 2 pieces, the bearing and its race.
bearing is held in by some bolt arrangement so removing that allows bearing to come out.
race is press fit and requires a removing tool or access to the rear of bearing, a hammer and something to go between hammer and rear edge of bearing - then tap around edge to move it out.

1997 ford thunderbird pulls right while driving at any speed, and pulls left while braking. The alignment is all good, pads are new, tires are new, ball joints and tie rods are tight, struts are good. any...

Possibly a right caliper not releasing, either a frozen caliper, or a bad rubber brake hose on the right front. After driving the vehicle, put your hand on or near the center of both front wheels and check for differences in temperature. If the right side is hotter, start checking caliper and hose.

Can you show me detail pictures of step by step repair of ball joint and controll arm of 1990 ford thunderbird v6 3.1 automatc

prev.gif next.gif REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Upper ball joints are not replaceable. The upper ball joint is part of the upper control arm bushing joint and is not serviced separately. If the upper ball joints are found to be defective, the entire upper control arm bushing joint assembly must be replaced. Lower Ball Joint INSPECTION
  1. Support the vehicle in normal driving position with ball joints loaded.
  2. Wipe the grease fitting and checking surface, so they are free of dirt and grease. The checking surface is the round boss into which the grease fitting is threaded.
  3. The checking surface should project outside the cover. If the checking surface is inside the cover, replace the lower arm assembly. prev.gif next.gif

How do change the rear right turn signal light bulb in a 94 ford thunderbird?

Typically you have to pull the (cardboard) liner in the trunk away from the light assembly, to get to the bulb. Then, gently twist the bulb holder one way or the other, until it comes loose from the tail light housing. Gently push the bulb in towards the socket that holds it, turn it counter-clockwise, and release the bulb. It should come loose. Assembly is the same, but in reverse.

Tire off rack and pinion?

Not too clear what broke...Is it the ball joint or the c/v joint on the drive axle itself. If you are mechanically inclined neither job is impossible to do. However, It's not a job i'd do on the side of the road or in someone's parking lot. Unless it was a dire emergency, with no other options. From your post, I gather that you are not too familiar with auto repair, so maybe you should consider having it done by a reliable shop. If you do the job, I suggest you get a manual and ask qustions here if you have a problem.
Good luck
