Question about 1994 Isuzu Trooper

1 Answer

1994 Isuzu Trooper engine won't start - lights in dash and vehicle all work, but engine won't even click to turnover. Battery was replaced last year, took her out for a long drive yesterday morning and ran errands in afternoon. This morning, nothing. Starter? Loose wires? Suggestions?

Ok if it clicks while turning over it means the ignition switch and coil are fine..IF it does not do that also then it means the ignition switch and coil are not working fine...

Isuzu trooper 2002 it started shut down started then it shut off .Now i try to start it and nothing no buzz no clicking nothing, the battery is fully charged. i just bought it. can some one please help

Try disconnecting a battery cable. Reconnect 5 min later. This resets the ECM. These vehicles are a real continuing problem when they get old. I had a 1990 Trooper II and finally junked it last year.

I have a 1994 Isuzu Trooper and since the service the car refuses to start from cold. When you start the engine over, the car will start but the rev's won't go over @ 1000 rev's for around 5 minutes...

Who performed your last service? If it was fine before, and now it's acting up, then maybe there is a loose electric connector or vacuum line when everything was being buttoned up.
Please let me know if I may further assist you. -TXTEXAN

My 1997 Isuzu bighorn (trooper) appears to "miss"

When is the last time a tune up was performed on the vehicle? I would get some amsoil engine foam, and use it as described. Also get some fuel system cleaner and use that as well and go from there.
Thank you,
Lee

Looking to buy a 1998 isuzu trooper but the check engine light is on. should i buy anyway

you can bring your vehicle to autozone or your local parts place for a "free" computer scan where you can then recieve the diagnostic trouble codes and address the issues at hand

Engine want turnover

Im not that sure but you can try checking on the thermostat located at the end of the radiator hose entering the engine. If this gets stuck in the close position it can easily cause this problem. You can just have a mechanic remove it, you don't have to replace it. The thermostat helps in heating your car during start ups especially in winter, othewise you can do without it. MGA
