Hi

this may be because following reasons.

1. you might have kept the temperature selection switch in heater please check it.
2.there may be leak in the AC line which might have drained the refrigirant so no cooling effect.check the line for leakage.
3.the refrigirant used may be less which doesnt give much cooling effect.
4.the cooling fan which cools the refrigirant may not working or speed is reduced which may reduces the heat transfer rate

if my answer were useful to you please vote me.

Is the compressor kicking in? Try adding Freon with a refill kit to the system. Follow the directions on the can. It will have a hose and gauge on it. Do not over charge the system.

The compressor in my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 4x4 turns on and off while parked. It blows very cold air while driving, but blows hot and cold air while parked. To hot to sit in the truck while...

the ac system needs air through the condenser ( radiator bit in front of the radiator) to operate correctly. IT it has no air then the compressed gas is to hot and will not turn to liquid and so the high pressure switch turns of the ac compressor. No problem when you are moving as road speed provides the air flow. Get an electric fan and have it installed before the condenser and connect it to the ac compressor circuit so that it is running all the time you have the ac compressor running. not the local mechanic. When dealing with ac systems the best people to take it to is an accredited ac specialist shop

2009 chevy AVEO 5 ac blows hot air

The guage needs to read between 35/40 psi.. If its much higher you may be overfull, this causes it to not cool.. Fix by letting some freon out, then top it back to needed pressure.. If pressure is correct, it would be a clog in the system.. Usually an orafice tube or accumulator..good luck!

Locate n change thermostate heater blows but not hot

if the engine is running fine, then the thermostat is opening and closing correctly and changing it will not fix your heater. the core is plugged or the blender control is letting in too much cold outside air.

Hot air blows out of the drivers vent

I've had this problem twice. Once last year and again today. Last year it resolved itself after about one week. Today I began to fix it with the process I found here (http://www.sparkys-answers.com/2009/09/2004-chevrolet-tahoe-blows-hot-air.html) and after removing the wiring harness and tapping on the actuator it began working correctly.
Good luck, DWtsn

No rear heat in pontiac montana '99

Warm up vehicle, then access heater pipes that run to rear of vehicle.  they should be HOT. if not you have  a circulation issue.  IF they are hot, then the blend door is not in the correct position.  this door directs air across a hot or cold core to create the correct air temp. check and update me.
