Question about 1996 Ford Explorer
Could be the pressure switch . with car running ac on max . there is a plug on the silver canister under the hood. unplug it take a piece of short wire (both ends stripped) stick one end of the wire in the plug on one of the terminal ends. then touch the other end of the wire to the other terminal end .while doing this watch the ac compressor. you should hear a click and see the clutch engage.
