Question about Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

Alright... i need some help. i have a 1985 gmc sierra with a 350sb dualed out...great truck. It would be perfect if the speedometer worked. i checked the dash to see if the wire was plugged in...which it is. But when i got under the truck today i discovered the wire was unplugged. If anybody can just tell me where it plugs in at under the truck id be extremely grateful. Thanks.

1985 GMc sierra boggs out at idle

Sounds to me that the carb. is bad, most likely its a Qjet, best thing to do here is to have it rebuilt, but better yet get a replacement, unless you know someone that will rebuild it for you witch i dought, they don't call them Qjunk for nothing.

4X4 inop on 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD

I have found that when you are going to engauge 4x4 high, it is best to only be going about 3 miles an hour. Not faster, not stopped. It likes some movement to help it mesh. I've had perfect shifts since I started this. Hope it helps. Wade.
