Hi
this may because of the following reason
1.cooling fan-the cooling fan is not working so no cooling process is taking place.
1.this may be because of wire connecting the fan may be damaged.
2.the sensor sensing temperature and activates the fan may damaged.

2.the radiator ma be chocked and the cooling water flow may be reduced which reduces the heat transfer.
3. Due to the agening of the fan it may be reduced it speed please check the fan and replace if nesessary.

iff my answer were useful to you please vote me.

1997 Honda Passport overheating and no heat inside car

Low coolant is the usual culprit, followed by a bad thermostat. When the car is cold take the radiator cap off and check the coolant level and add as needed, then make sure overflow tank is at the correct level. If the radiator is low but the overflow has fluid, replaced the radiator cap.

I have a jeep grand cherokee 2009 with over heat problem. only 15.000 miles.

Start by checking your coolant level. If this is fine, replace your thermostat. Thermostats can last up to a few years, but I have seen them go bad within a few months.

Heat/Cool gauge fluctuates inconsistently

You might check the coolant level after the engine cools,if it's low add 50/50 mixture of coolant and water. Keep an eye on the level to see if it happens again. You might have a small leak in the system. Good luck

Is there any sensors that need to be replaced if engine is overheating.water is flowing good! new clutch fan and thermostat. the suv heats up to 210 and over if i go 2 miles

If it overheats within 2 miles , It is definitely the Thermostat. Could be faulty , could be upside down , could have a big vapour lock under it.

You have a high touge engine so the recomendations are generally for cars that are driven weekly at least. I would change these within ten years apart for they do age from heat
