There is a number of things that could be wrong. DFepending on your experience, unless you have a lot in brake work take it to a mechanic. Brakes are something you don't want to take chances with. They can cost you your life.

Replaced brake pads on 2005 chevy malibu, and brake petal still goes to the floor

It take a few full brake application for the brakes pads to adjust there self and check the brake fluid level. Top off as needed with DOT 3 and be safe.

Just changed rear brake pads on 05 mazda 6. now

This is normal and you need to keep pumping the brakes till they reset there self. Once the brake peddle have reset there self and is firm, check the brake fluid level again and add brake fluid if low. After brakes have reset there self, go for a test drive around the block and check the parking brakes. Good luck.

I am getting a very loud rythmic grinding from rear end. I think its the wheel hub. Is this expensive? Can I change this myself?

both parts will be cheap from brake pads to wheel bearing if need to replace. 50 bucks for sets of brake pad and wheel bearing will be 27 bucks. rear grinding could be your brake pads are worned and rubbing against the rotor. you can do the work your self and don't need a shop as long you have the right tools. if its the wheel bearing than its going to be other task, which still can perform the work at home. Big 1/2 inch sockets sets with box and open end wrench will come in handy. if it the rear end it will be best to take it to professional to have the work done.

Back drum get hot

brake temps increase as the weight increases.(hauling/towing). or the use of ceramic pads with standard disc, will also cause increased brake temps. if it did not come on the truck dont put them on unless you are prepared to replace rotor as well.

Changing front brake pads, brake fluid starting leaking after removing bolts

If they are fixed calipers (which they probably are) then yes. If they are floating calipers then you have to remove the two bolts on the guide pins. From your description it sounds like they are fixed calipers, in which case you remove the clip on the pin and remove the pin and pads. Compress the pistons and replace the pads and pin. Be sure to tighten the bolt you removed.

Brakes were grinding and now have stopped

Depending on how far you drive to work, If you can already see grooves in your rotors it is doubtful if yu will do more damage than has already been done! However, you are taking a chance if the brake light has been activated.

2004 Mini CooperS- brake service light stays on

Did they replace the brake pad wear sensor? If so, try leaving the key in the on postion for 30-45 seconds (dont start the car) This is how we reset the lights on BMW's and the Mini's use a similar system for service lights

Brakes on 2000 regal motorhome (F350 V10)

Last time I had a low brake pedal, the wrong front wheel bearings were installed. Ford Dealer did not want to own up to it, but put the right bearings in and all fixed.
Hand brakes?
The factory used a small diameter drum on the pickups (even though the main rear bake is a disk). The parking brake pedal has to do full travel to hold the truck. It is just a pedal, cable and shoes so something is wrong with one of them.
If this is a hand brake on the transmission, I don't know what to say except that it is still pretty simple.
