Actually, It goes off after a certain long time(NOT less than 10 min). My thought is some sensor doing that for some reason but not sure what is that and why, I might have to do/check some thing before closing the central lock :s

1.this is because there is some short circuiting occuring in the system.(probably near the switch) this by passes the switch so that the circuit is remain always closed and light is always on. please trace the line of the low beam light before the switch and make proper insulation of wire it wil good.

2.the switch might have damaged. so replace the switch and try.

if my answer were useful please vote for me

How fix 2009 Honda Fit lowbeam headlights that both stopped working at same time?

Agree that both shouldn't fail together.
I suggest change one anyway, never hurts to carry a spare.

1999 honda civic. both low beams stopped working at the same time.

First thing to do is check your fuses. The high and low beams on Hondas are on seperate fuses. This is probably whats wrong since it is rare for both headlights to burn out at the same time. If the fuses are good the headlight switch may be at fault. Try the fuses first. The headlight switch is a little more detailed to check. You will need a test light and will have to get to the wiring of the headlight switch to start checking wires for grounds and current.

My low beam lights sometimes stop working i still have high beam and daylight runing lights after a while they come on.2009 elantra dealer can't find problem.

when the low beams quit try switching from high to low and back and see if low beams stay on, if they do it may be the dimmer switch, if that doesn't change anything suspect the headlight switch.

CRV headlights

The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.
