Need to recharge 2003 chevy malibu air conditioner. where do i find the intake to recharge it.

Under the hood there is two a/c valves, one says H for high side and one says L for low side... hook up to the low side and turn the a/c on max with the car running and then charge. you really need a pressure gauge to know how much to put in. too much freon will make it blow hot also, you need the right amount of pressures, just go slow filling it up and keep checking the a.c temp out of the vents.

intake air sensor? there is a air sensor on the air cleaner box, there is a mass airflow sensor on the rubber hose to the throttle body, there is a idle air control on the throttle body that looks like a little black motor,

Where is po311 intake sensor in a 2001 chevy malibu


po311 is cylinder 11 is misfiring. so you must have the wrong code. are you talking about the intake air tempurature sensor, IAT. if so it is located in big hose from air cleaner, the first sensor in hose. po113 is this sensor.

Could be several things. The fuse relay to the AC compressor could be bad. The system may need to be recharged due to lack of refrigerant the compressor will not work unless it has enough.

2003 Malibu repeated Air conditioner failure


None of the repairs work , If the system is not entirely flushed out, dryers, expansion valves and the like are replaced. If the original problem involved compressor failure, tiny bits of medal and debris may be still circulating in the system and casing other components in that system to fail. Someone does not know what they are doing.
