The engine shuts off when I turn on the A/C.

I own a Suzuki XL-7 and the engine shuts off when I turn on the A/C can you tell what might be causing this? Plus before that happened the A/C would make a squeeking noise at the begining and then the noise would clear?

The AC compressor was starting to wear (noise)
now it has completely seized which kills your engine when the AC is turned on.. those AC compressors are known to be junk.. mine went out as well

It is possible that the auto rpm adjustment is not worrking accordingly when the ac is switched on. You will need to trace this out and rectify. Also since you mentioned sqeaking , please check on the belt or the idler pulley. replace if defective or tighten them.
The auto correction should be checked to increse the fuel intake or you must make the corrrection. usally the RPM increase by about a percentage of 15% which makes the engine to take the extra load and not shut down. I hope you get this right. Good day

I have a 2002 suzuki grand vitara xl-7 and it is not leaking oil but it is always low on oil what can cause that?

This is normally caused by a bad set of rings or valves leaking. The oil is burning off or escaping through the exhaust. Make sure you check between the Transmission and engine area for any sign of oil which would indicate a leak in the Rear seal.

Engine service soon light come on in my suzuiki xl7 2005

Hi:
There are hundreds of things that can cause the service engine light to come on, some so simple as a loose gas cap. The easy thing to do is to stop by your local auto parts store, such as autozone. They will scan your car for free, and tell you what tripped the light. Once you have a better idea what caused it, you can go from there...

My 2001 Suzuki XL 7 is consumming excessive fuel 1litre for 4 km

Poor fuel consumption can be caused by a few things. One being the O2 sensor. You should also check your spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, and try to find out whens the last time the vehicle had a tune up. Check your tires and make sure they are properly inflated as underinflated tires can make the engine work harder and consume more fuel. A little preventive maintanence goes a long way. Check engine light usually means the computer has detected a problem with the emission control for your vehicle. Have that checked ASAP because the longer you drive with the light on the greater the chances of permanent damage to the ECS.
