Try this
PASSKEY
LOCKOUT RESET :----
1) Put the key in the
ignition and turn to the "ON" position. Leave it that way for 10
minutes. After 10 minutes turn the key and take it out. Repeat this process (2)
more times (3 times, 30 minutes total) This should reset the passlock system to
recognize your key.
You have been locked out by the pass lock
system and it needs to relearn the security system. Here's how to do it without
a scan tool. It takes 3o minutes and patience to do it right.
30 Minute Learn Procedure
Tools Required: None
Turn ON the
ignition, with the engine OFF.
Attempt to start the
engine, then release the key to ON (vehicle will not start).
Observe the SECURITY
telltale, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale
will turn OFF.
Turn OFF the ignition, and
wait 5 seconds.
Repeat steps 1 through 4,
2 more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes. The
vehicle is now ready to relearn the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or passwords
on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. IMPORTANT: The
vehicle learns the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or password XX the next
ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF
before attempting to start the vehicle.
Start the engine. The
vehicle has now learned the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or password.
With a scan tool, clear
any DTCs if needed. History DTCs will self clear after 100 ignition cycles.
If still the same problem then , the problem is
most likely the receiver for the key transponder, the dealer can test
this system with a special electronic test tool called tech 2 scanner.
Thanks.

Turn the key on,leave it on for ten minutes, then turn it off,and right back on,leave it ten more minutes, and turn it off,and right back on,and one more time,a total of three times, and thirty minutes, this will relearn the key to the ignition.
after doing what you said it started but i let it run for a minute then turned it off and now it is saying the same thing and it is not starting
You will most likely have to replace the ignition ,lock and cylinder, but try the relearning procedure again, this time allow it to run a while, maybe drive it,but do not turn it off, until you get back.
