Question about 1988 Mercedes-Benz 190
Took truck to shop to clear the check engine light, a full tune was done and the check egine light was gone, a few days later the chec engine light came back on, I took the truck back to the mechcanic and he made the check engine light go out again. During the same day the light came back on, I took the truck back to the mechanic and he told me that if the engine was not experincing any problems not to worry about the check engine light, after about 3 to 4 months later the check engine light started blinking on and off and the engine has lots of hesitation, if at all possible I would appreciate any assistance with this problem.
Have someone who knows what they are doing try to pull the code, instead of erasing it and telling you it's fine. That is a no go. I would say lots of hesitation could have to do with the crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, etc.
