HI Mike!!

I don't think the SIRS wiring you fixed is related to the seat belt problem you are having. click on the link below for a wiring diagram of the SIRS circuit.

Check the seat belt wiring and/or fuse, if the buzzer and seat belt dash light work, the problem could be in the retract mechanism. If this is the case, your best bet should be to get replacements at the junk yard for about $15 a piece.

In case you want to troubleshoot further, click on the following link and select the wiring diagram that applies to your vehicle. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/repairinfo/repairguide/repairGuideContent.jsp?pageId=0900c1528008f3ce

Good Luck!!

The voltage at the connections of the belt needs to be checked.Or some of the wire is not getting connected or may be the seat belt is getting blocked. For volt it will show exact 12 volt.Check it with meter to confirm the power first. Check out.Thanks.

Where is the location of front crash sensor in a 2008 ford focus?

The crash sensors should be mounted off the front horn of the frame ( on either side). The sensors will be leads and wires that go back to the "black box" located under the body towards the front firewall. This is where the information us processed and sent to the airbag deployment system and allows for for fuel delivery shutoff.

4 wheeldrive dose not engage on my 1989 1/2 ton chevy,i have changed front actuator and the switch on top of the transfer and neither one made a diffrence

Check the wiring, look for abrasions where wiring meets the frame, it may take a bit of searching to locate the problem. The wire doesn't necessarily need to be broken to not work, just shorted.

#9 fuse keeps blowing. Not a problem during daylite hours, but they want you to have taillights at nite. Turn signals and brakes okay. Have taken doors apart, disassembled the dash, followed parking light...

Had this problem on my 1995 K1500. Take your front blinkers out and see if the wires are rubbing on the frame causing it to short out. Took me 4 months to figure this out.

Changing front end need to know where the air bag deployment sensors are and what I need to do so they won't go off?

If you are unsure, disconnect the battery and remove the fuse for the airbags. Just put the fuse back in before you hook up the battery. Most airbag sensors are mounted on the frame in front of the rad.

Chevy cavalier 1996 headlight not working, day

Did you replace the relay for the day time running lights which for some dumb reason is mounted under the front bumper? Climb under and look straight up and you should see it...mine was mounted in about the center (on the frame in front of the radiator. Sounds similar to an issue I had and it cleared up once I replaced the part...had to get from dealer still.

My air bag light on my 2000 Ford Econoline van flashes a 19 code. Does anyone know what that means?

Seems to be a very common problem with Ford. The wiring harness beneath the drivers seat contains the sensors for the airbag system. Go under the drivers seat and secure all the wires and clips. This makes most error lights for the airbags go away. Hope this helps and good luck!

The airbag light came on and stayed on for no reason.

I have the same issue (which comes and goes often).
It is caused by a loose wire connection, used for the drivers side airbag located in the seat.. The connector for mine is located under the front drivers seat. There are a couple of connectors that are connected to a bar under the front of the seat. I don't recall which one is used for the Airbag sensor.

1996 honda accord no turn signal

Check the wiring in the front and back to lights for shorts to ground, if nothing is found replace the turn signal switch, be careful to disarm the airbag before doing any work on the column as the steering wheel must be pulled to replace the turn switch.

Airbag light

I just repaired my 93 aerostar with the same problem. there is a sensor in front of the radiator, and behind the front center section of the grill. need to remove the section of grill (4 screws) in the center, under the hood latch is a black box with a wire attached. remove the black box, 2 screws. wire brush the points where the mounting bracket comes in contact with the frame. also clean the 2 bolts and washers, down to bare metal. This is a problem of electrical contact. the sensor has to be well grounded to the frame to work properly. Just took me 10 mins. and no more warning light.
