Question about Volkswagen New Beetle

2001 Beetle (Non - Air Conditioned) 1.6L petrol. European Model.

2001 Beetle (Non - Air Conditioned) 1.6L petrol. Only blows warm or hot air in the interior. Even at 'cold', the air temp is still warm. How can I fix this? Ken, Dublin Ireland

Add some r12 if still not working check antifreeze level if still full then check the relay fuse for the fan temp blower

My 2001 volkswagen beetle air is not blowing cool air it is hot air the compressor seems to be blowing fine


you can purchase a recharging kit and hook it up and see what the gauges tell you,

A/C controler on Ford F-250 not working. A/C blows but to defrost only, nothing occurs when switching to vent control. Please advise. Thank You.


No airflow at all or just not cold? The AC only runs in the AC , Max or either of the defrost modes to automatically dehumidify the air to reduce fogging. The other positions vent in outside (non conditioned) air.

My 2001 venture van rear air is blowing hot air


often on the vans with rear air the air dor acuator goed bad and can no longer switch from hot to cold. also the swich itself will often go bad. this can be caused by sticky fingers damaging the inside of the switch. sometimes a good cleaning in warm water will fix a sticky switch

You would have to measure the pressure to determine if it's pressurized correctly. The compressor won't run if it's low.
What happens when you push the a/c button? Can you hear/feel the compressor kick in? It seems like in most cases it's the compressor itself or the compressor clutch that goes. It's way too common in vw's...

This may be a solution:
I had a similar problem at the beginning of this winter.
My heater was blowing cold air.

My solution:
Heater Temperature control cable, about $10 from dealer
Install, about $70, at my local Firestone

2001 pt cruiser no heat


did you check the fluid level by removing the rad. cap? Radiator should be full to top. If Chryslers are low on coolant, the heater will not blow warm air.
