If pressure is low, then the oil pickup tube which is on the inside of the oil pan is likely plugged up. The higher the oil pressure the better.

The gauge is faulty or the sending unit is on the engine. I suggest to replace the sending unit on the engine since this switch also activates the fuel pump to prime upon starting the engine up

New holland ts 120 oil pressure to high where is the pressure relieve valve situated? the oil pump is in the dif.

There is no relief valve on the oil pump.
The valve is on a housing near the oil filter
Normal pressure with HOT oil is 15 to 20 PSI at tick over and around 60 PSI when the engine is reved up
Note oil pressure can be as high as 90 psi with engine oil cold and engine reved up

Just put a new rear diff in my 2014 Walker Evans. New diff running hot,120 degrees F at 30mph or more. Any ideas?

differentials run hot normally and I don't consider 120 F excessive
the oil in use should be 80-90 epw oil or if it is a limited slip diff, special limited slip oil of the same grade and only filled to the bottom of the fill plug hole
120 F is only 49 C
you have 3 sources of heat generation
1-- the preload on the pinion bearings
2-- the preload on the diff carrier bearings
3 --- the friction generated by the pinion / crown wheel teeth sliding past each other
the use of ep oil ( extreme pressure ) tends to keep the oil between the teeth and so reduces that friction

, about 1 litter per 1000 km.No smoke, no leaks, no loss of power. I fill oil in ( about 200ml) then oil level show correct. after driving a distance then oil level is low again. What can the cause be

have a wet and dry compression test done on the engine
compression pressure should be around 150-165 psi with a variation between adjacent cylinders or not more than 10%
If the compression is down to say 120 psi wet then the problem will be a worn engine
the smoke is there but the cat converter is doing its job and burning it off

What are the cylinder compression figures for a 1098cc mini

around 120 psi with no more than 10% difference between adjacent cylinders 120--120--110-110 indicates a head gasket or 120-100-100-120 is head gasket. test is done cold with the throttle held wide open and all plugs out.. Next squirt oil from an oil can (3to 4 pumps) into each cylinder and retest Pressure should go up indicating good rings. If it doesn't change up in each cylinder the cylinder will have possibly a broken ring or scored bore allowing the oil to be blown into the sump

Your oil pressure sensor? Yes it could be, you will have to get a manual gauge hooked up to verify this.

My 01 bonneville oil pressure gauge is showing 120 and my gas gauge is all over the place

HI, the oil pressure sending unit may be malfunctioning at this point. this will cause erratic readings. if your oil level is proper and there are no apparent oil leaks, you will need to replace the oil pressure sending unit. this will fix the erratic oil pressure readings.

Concerning the gas gauge. this device also has a sending unit that sends the correct fuel level reading to the gas gauge via wire transfer. this sending unit is located and attached to the fuel pump assembly inside the gas tank. replacing this device will fix this issue as well.

Please rate and god bless:)
