Well, the fluid from the radiator could be evaporating. Is the upper hose solid when you shut it off?

If you 'smell' antifreeze there 'is' a leak.

Is the fluid 50/50 strength antifreeze to water?

Usually, if there is a leak, it will drip to the ground or come out of the tailpipe (in the case of a bad head gasket).

It is not unusual to have a car with 108,000 mi. to have a leak somewhere.

Keep looking and topping off the fluid.

How to purge radiator on a 2003 GMC envoy

Install a back flush kit on the engine. Connecting a garden hose to it will push any air in the block into the radiator so you can see when the air has been purged.

2003 GMC Envoy main blower fan runs constantly

Does the fan stay on even with the ignition key off? Do you have automatic heating and air conditioning controls? Automatic controls have a light up blue screen in the middle of the temperature controls, and there will be a button that says "Auto". If you do have automatic controls, the likely culprit of your fan staying on constantly is what is called the blower control processor. The blower control processor is a small computer that replaces the blower resistor commonly found in cars. When the blower control processor fails, it usually "sticks" on. It's not a cheap part, but is easy enough to replace if you're handy with basic hand tools and comfortable unplugging electrical connectors under the glove compartment area.

How do I remove the thermostat from the 2004 GMC Envoy????

It's actually very simple. Follow the upper radiator hose to the top of the engine block. You will see a housing which the hose is attached to. Remove the hose from the housing. The housing will have 2 or 3 bolts holding it down. Remove the bolts and lift the housing off. The thermostat will be sitting there and you simply need to remove it.
