Question about 1988 Ford F 150
I have an 88 F-150 xlt lariat and my cargo light doesnt work i cant even find a switch or anything to try and turn it on i have tried replacing the bulb but i cant find out how to get on
Give a dealer a quick call to confirm (service Mgr.) but as I recall it was turn headlight switch all the way one way and feel it click. I'll dig a little in my manuals and see if I can find it. I'd also try a test light at wires coming out of switch and see if I get power from one when turned as I describe and lose power when not in that position. It may come down to removing headliner and tracing back, or installing a new power wire to a separate toggle switch , or replacing light switch. I'll see tonight if I can find a diagram, or confirm some how 100%.
