That's a good start. Code 300 is the code for a random miss. None of the cylinders are loosing RPM enough to point to one cylinder.
At least not yet.
You may have to wait until the problem gets bad enough to have a dead miss on one cylinder. Fuel injectors or fuel pressure is another possible cause as well as a vac leak.

What would make 2005 dodge ram 1500 hemi 5.7L v8 . its bogging down when driving .i changed the cam sensor and it still does it

Could be a long list of things, including low fuel pressure, throttle position sensor, EGR valve, dirty air filter, and so on.
Is the check engine light on ?
Does it feel like it is lacking fuel, or air ? Is it not downshifting when it should ?

We just changed the spark plugs , oil and air filter in my 2004 dodge ram 2500 hemi and now it wont stay started unless you keep your foot on the gas

Make sure that all the hoses are connected properly. If the intake has any leaks between the throttle body and the air filter housing the computer will not see air entering the engine and you will have this problem.
