This means the cd mechanism is defective. Try to find a replacement.
If you try a salvage yard, you may find a bargain. I wouldn't get the radio from the dealer unless I had a lot of money to throw around for it.
It probably costs over $800 for the radio from there.
Salvage yards cost probably less than 1/4 that.
