I just put in a 5.4 from a 2001 in a 1999 F150. I used all the sensors from the original truck. I used the 2001 intake and used the throttle body from the 1999. You do need to make sure the the engines are the same VIN code. Mine are both 'L' codes. That what I was told needed to be the same.

What do code 31-02 mean for my 2001 handa odossey

The OBD code P3102 means there is a "transmission control ECU malfunction".

You may be experiencing a hard shudder when you turn off the engine.

Possible causes could include: Faulty fuse or fuses, faulty wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Intake Manifold Flap Motor or a faulty Intake Manifold Flap Motor.

Your possible solutions could include: Check for blown fuses, check wiring and/or connector(s) to and from the Intake Manifold Flap Motor, check or replace the Intake Manifold Flap Motor. You can also perform an Output Test.

I baught a 03 cobra terminator engine for my 99 cobra do i have to change my cams in the 03 motor to run the 99 intake

camshafts affect valve timing only and have nothing to do with air intakes . Air intakes only affect the air flow into an engine past the valves . Problems you are likely to encounter are air flow sensors as they will be different from each engine.

Will a 99 1.9 dohc fit my 2001 dohc

More or less, yes. As long as it is the 9 bolt exhaust manifold on the '99 then everything except the intake manifold will bolt into your '01. The intake manifold on your '01 is a vertical plastic type while the '99 has a horizontal aluminum type. Bolt off the '99s and put on your '01 and you should be set.

Help me with a motor interchange

Believe it or not all GM 300 series motors are very similar and they all give head or intake problems whether its in the grand am, grand prix or montana the 3.4 is just that a 3.4. GMs not going to make a different 3.4 for each car they're all the same, it will fit. Do yourself a favor and make sure its not the intake gasket thats the actual culprit.
